2. What this website does – and does not do
- It consists of static pages.
- It sets no cookies and uses no storage in your browser.
- It uses no tracking and no analytics or advertising services.
- It loads no fonts, scripts, images or other content from third parties.
- It has no forms.
3. Hosting and delivery through Cloudflare
The website is hosted on our own server and delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy and content delivery network on our behalf (processor under Art. 28 GDPR): every request to this website passes through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and the request data (e.g. the address requested, the time, technical details of your browser) to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable delivery of the website.
Data may be transferred to the United States in the process. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
4. Server log files
Our web server writes an entry to its access log for each request: IP address, date and time, the address requested (URL), HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the page you came from (referrer, if sent) and your browser's identifier (user agent).
The purpose is the secure operation of the website: finding errors and detecting attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The entries are deleted after 14 days, unless a specific security incident requires keeping them longer to investigate it.
5. Contact by email
If you email us, we process the information you send (e.g. name, email address, the content of your message) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering requests). We delete the data when it is no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention obligation applies.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). Please contact info@cantabile.solutions.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your residence, your place of work or of the alleged infringement.
7. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide any data; without the technically necessary connection data, however, the website cannot be delivered. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
8. The Cantabile platform
This policy covers the website cantabile.solutions. The Cantabile products (Hub, add-on, console) have their own privacy notices, provided when they are used.
